Cross-country skiing is one of the most beautiful and varied ways to spend your holiday in the mountains of the Arlberg. Glide silently through snow-covered forests, idyllic valleys and sunny high-altitude trails, deciding for yourself whether to take it easy and enjoy the varied landscape or set a new personal record with sporting ambition.

Cross-country trails for every taste

The beautiful village of Lech am Arlberg, which attracts skiers from all over the world every winter from the end of November to mid-April, is also becoming increasingly popular with cross-country skiers. Depending on your ability and mood, you can choose between different routes. Options include the new two-kilometre Spullerswaldweg trail and the 2.8-kilometre route from Lech to Zug. The Gaisbühel high-altitude trail (6 kilometres) leads across an often sunny plateau and offers spectacular views of the mountains, but is technically very demanding and requires good physical condition.
