On the Arlberg

The area around Lech-Zug is also ideal for mountain bikers and those who want to become one. The numerous tours offer variety and diversity and are aimed at beginners and leisure cyclists as well as professional bikers. The various huts and alpine pastures invite you to take a break, and some of the routes can also be tackled with the aid of a lift.

Mountain bikers. The most beautiful mountain bike tours in Lech

The Spullersee Tour takes you from Lech via Zug to the car-free toll road Zugertal and from there to Lake Spullersee. The 30 km route covers an altitude difference of 400 metres. The tour is also suitable for less experienced cyclists and can be completed on a normal bicycle.

The Formarinsee Tour also takes you to the Zugertal toll road and on to Lake Formarin. The 31 km route with its 425 metre elevation gain requires a good level of fitness, but does not present any particular difficulties.

Demanding cyclists choose the Kriegersattel tour, which leads from Lech via Oberlech and the Grubenalpe to the 2,000-metre-high Kriegersattel. From Zugertobel via Zug, the route leads back to Lech. This demanding tour is 12 kilometres long and involves a climb of 550 metres.
